Grindon Church Community Project CIO (Charity no. 1189916) has a vacancy for an
Administrative Specialist
We are looking for someone with initiative, and a good eye for detail.
- Working with other staff and volunteers.
- Specialising in Funding (including applications, record keeping and reporting),
- Supporting Trustees’ work,
- Communications (inc. Websites/Social Media).
- Financial experience and report writing
- Comfortable representing the organisation at meetings and events.
You will be working and communicating with members of the public, and a team of staff and volunteers. It’s likely that no two days will ever be the same and you’ll need to thrive in that kind of environment.
The post is to start as soon as practical (to suit successful candidate), and will run until 31st October 2025, after a trial period. Rate of Pay is £14 ph for 20 hours a week, flexible hours – to be agreed between the successful candidate and the needs of the project.

We are always looking for helpers and volunteers while you are finding paid employment – many different types of jobs always need helping hands.
It is a good way to build on experience and confidence in a supported, non-judgemental place where people feel safe.
A number of our helpers have gone on to find a permanent job and we are happy to help with this in any way we can.
Core volunteers are DBS checked and all undergo Safeguarding Training.
