The Garden Group meets every Friday and is open to anyone who would like to come along, joining with our regular volunteers for a morning of outdoor activity to help with exercise, interest, stimulation, support and sharing over hot drinks and snacks. We arrive from 10am onwards but please feel free to come and go as you please.
What are we doing? Preparing part of the garden for play. Keeping the orchard tidy. Checking the
hedgehogs are ok and have places to hide. Growing in the greenhouse. Labelling our plants and trees. Caring for our new copse area. Getting ready to prune the soft fruits. There is also soil to move, weeds to pull, fruit to pick and tea to drink! Come along and help, enjoy outdoor time, and spot the wildlife.
This year we would like to enter the Britain In Bloom It’s Your Neighbourhood competition and see if we can match or better our success in 2018.
